Kudos to PK for botany field trip. She’s all fixed up better than new, now. Doug and I have some poison ivy fallout, but doing ok. I just hope the suits/car are saturated in that oil.

With the clamor that erupted with the debut of the navy shirt, we’ve designed an alternative (and less expensive) version that will print on a white t-shirt and should sell for about $19 plus shipping. You can find it here and this is what it will look like:

The team t-shirt is up and available for purchase. It’s a little more expensive on the navy t-shirt than I’d like, but I do like the way it works. This shirt is perfect for race weekends, poker night, college reunions, casino runs, and of course, soccer games with the kids. Just imagine the looks of jubilation and glee that you will get from soccer moms when you wear this to the next Junior Juventus versus Junior Hotspur match!

I’m going to try to re-work the graphics over the weekend to make it work on the white t-shirt (which is $10 cheaper per shirt than the dark shirts). But for now, here’s what it looks like.

Revised Door Graphics

Here are the revised door graphics, hope you like them. At scale, the number 2 is 12″ high, per LeMons rules. The part that is white on these will be cut out to allow the lightbox to shine through at night; the background is black since door numbers need to be either white on black or black on white according to the rules. I need to know who is going to be doing the graphic printing on these so I can get with the printer and get them the files and some specific instructions whenever you guys have the chance to get that info to me. The hood image will look mostly like that below, except I made the number bigger to use up more available room. The hood design below remained the same. Cheers.

Hood & Doors

I’ll paste below the cleaned-up hood design and the door panels. Lemme know what you think.

The graphic will be cut out around the outside of the girl and the meatball. If you click on her, you should get a better view; I was able to get rid of a lot of the pixelation of the original, but you won’t really see how it looks until the printer prints the final vinyl version for the car. I’ve got both .ai and .eps files ready to send but we’ll need to ftp them as they are big (21Mb). I’ve got this one set to print at about 45″ wide and 28″ tall, which will take up most of the hood of the car.

Here are the door panel graphics. The white parts will be cut out so that the light will shine through those parts at night. The first one is the driver’s door, the second is the passenger door. These can be done in any non-white color of solid vinyl that you want them to be made of, I chose red for now just because it’s pretty high contrast with the white.

Here’s the passenger door:

We need to measure how much of the lightbox is visible now that they have been installed. These graphics are based on the 14×20 original area that I designed when I built the lightboxes, but if the cut out area on the door is smaller than that then these will need to be re-worked. Let me know if you want any changes or anything else on these; I think we need to keep the door graphics pretty simple, since backlit graphics can get overwhelmed pretty easily.

Let me know what you want me to do about the t-shirt fronts.
